Christine Reber

German Diction

Soprano Christine Reber was born in Tuebingen, Germany and studied at the University of Music in Freiburg, Germany under Prof. Dr. Bernd Goepfert and was as well a scholarship holder at Mannes College of Music in New York under Ruth Falcon. At present she works with Mezzo-soprano Carmen Mammoser in Stuttgart/Germany.


Christine Reber’s versatility can be seen in her wide repertory including musical works from different epochs and styles. Ms. Reber has taken part in national and international master classes presented by Regina Resnik, Renata Scotto, Gundula Janowitz, Brian Zeger, Nico Castel, Charlotte Lehmann, Sylvia Anderson, Patricia Craig, Patricia Wise and Ubaldo Fabbri.

In 2005 she received the Achievement Award for Artistic Excellence from the German Forum in New York.

Different performances and events allowed the soprano to perform in many countries. So could she be heard in the United States, her native Germany, in Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Canada and Dubai.

In 2006 she sang the memorial service for the victims of 9/ 11 at St. Paul’s Church in New York broadcast by ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) on national television in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Also, Christine Reber could be seen on television of SWR (Südwestrundfunk) as well as heard on different radio shows.
