Nils Neubert

German Diction & Translation

Tenor Nils Neubert, born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, performs regularly in opera, concert, and recital, both in the U.S. and abroad. Recent and upcoming appearances with Trinity Wall Street, Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity, Berkshire Choral Festival, Musica Sacra, Voices of Ascension, TENET, Musical Oratory Foundation, Musica Angelia Baroque Orchestra, 4x4 Baroque Music Festival, Schubert & Co., Brooklyn Art Song Society, Russian Chamber Art Society, and the Beethoven Institute and Amnesty International at Mannes. 

Nils holds degrees from The Juilliard School and Columbia University, and is a doctoral candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center. He has made additional studies at the International Summer Academy Mozarteum Salzburg, Festival de Musica Clasica in Puigcerda, Spain, Bel Canto at Caramoor, and Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Florence, Italy. He was a First Prize Winner of the Barry Alexander International Vocal Competition; winner of the Friday Woodmere Competition; grant recipient of the Gerda Lissner Foundation; a finalist in both the Liederkranz Foundation Vocal Competition and Oratorio Society of New York’s Lyndon Woodside Competition.
